International project: Kilimanjaro VET / Capacity Tanzania (2023-2026)

The project aims to build vocational education capacity in Moshi, Kilimanjaro area in Tanzania. Main efforts are improving pedagogical skills of the teachers, digital and entrepreneurial skills. Special attention in the project is given to promoting equal opportunities and inclusion (pedagogy tailored for students with special needs and equity work).

Project objectives

The long-term aim of the project is to increase the number of VET-skilled people in Tanzania, especially in Moshi and thus support the region’s socio-economic development.

implement competence-based education as a principle and method
develop and adapt context-sensitive pedagogical approaches
